City to Lilydale Lake (103km, +893m)
Details
A midweek (Thursday) ride for Intermediates
via various paths and a few roads to Lilydale and the lake
that we did last in June 2025.
We'll have lunch in Lilydale at a cafe or bakery.
Note that some of the route is mildly hilly (see the profile graph under the map)

Distance:
52 Km each way. Cycle back or catch the train if you wish.
Mostly on paths with a few minor roads
Speed:
25 kmh (typical speed not the average). There are mild climbs where we'll be slower and descents where I'm sure we'll be faster.
Bike to bring:
Conventional bikes or e-bikes in good order. Please leave side panniers and heavy bikes (eg MTBs) at home for this ride. (It's a long ride and does climb a bit)
