Let's check out some new sealed and unsealed trails along Moonee Ponds Creek that I haven't ridden.

Ride: A midweek (Thur) ride up Moonee Ponds Creek Trail on one side to Gowanbrae and returning, for part of it, on the other side on new trails.
Some gravel involved but not too much. We'll leave the trail at times for coffee, etc.

Forecast: Melbourne area - 27°C
Mostly sunny. Light winds becoming northerly 15 to 25 km/h during the morning.

Bike: Any mechanically sound bicycle should be fine.
I'll take my gravel bike but a roadbike won't have any problems.

Speed: 20-25 km/h

Distance: 47km or so

Finish time is an outside guess and could be earlier
