What we’re about
In short we LOVE Melbourne!
From the beating heart of Melbourne ... the Art Centre, NGV, Flinders St station ... iconic landmarks, Royal Botanical Garden, Yarra River, Birrarung Marr, Sydney Myer Music Bowl, QVM and the "G" or the MCG, well preserved period homes and buildings, International communities, and the multitude of diverse dining, hospitality scenes, Southbank, Docklands, South Melbourne Market, simply endless and just so much to explore and enjoy.
We shall explore Melbourne through its events & festivals; music (all genre), live band, sports, special events, day tour, domestic & overseas travel, wining & dining, and other activities.
If you want to be part of this ... a few considerations;
We welcome all who share the same values of respect and agenda of friendship & fun.
When joining, we would like to put a face to a name ... and so we ask that a CLEAR portrait photo with your given name be provided as a courtesy and respecting other members.
Our social engagement should be free from any member's business vested interest, hence we won't be supporting any multi-level businesses and the likes, we are here to spend money, have a good time while enjoying each other's company.
Should you wish not to participate in any activities that are posted, please feel free to advise the organisers with reasonable notice or step down from the group.
In fairness to all who want to be part of this meetup .... extended non-participation, late cancellations (less than 24 hrs prior to the event) or 3 no-shows will see your membership revoked and your place made available to the next prospective member requesting to join ... and 3 months of non-activity will revoked your membership.
If this is the group that you want to actively be part of, then you are most welcome to join the group.
Be open minded, we are looking forward to exploring, and enjoying Melbourne together!
On behalf of all our members we welcome, see you soon and cheers,
Jeff
PS.
