What we’re about
It is widely known that stress if not managed will result in extended pain followed by death.
Before it does so it will demonstrate plenty of warning signs.
First it will destroy your day.
Soon after it will destroy whole weeks and then your year and ultimately your life.
Stress also manages to change who you are and want to be.
All the while you think this is "Normal"
Stress will reduce your ability to handle (or face) your responsibilities and have meaningful relationships
with others.
Your Stress will, as sure as night follows day upset other lives that you are connected with.
Your Stress is contagious.
It will affect your own ability to communicate and do good work and enjoy your family and work life.
Stress changes people from natural extroverts into introverts.
Stressed people will find their energy levels crash and feel more and more exhausted.
So tired in fact that the sheer thought of doing something (anything) is enough for stressed individuals to give up well before things will even be started.
Stressed people are reluctant to start anything new or will take forever to get to a good outcome.
Sadly no amount of extended sleep or holidays will deal with stress effectively.
They will for the most part only do what is essential to survive.
They only go to work for the paycheck and find it harder and harder to communicate with people .
Stressed individuals have a tendency to want to sleep (go unconscious) or support themselves with anything that is pleasurable like shopping, eating, drinking, gambling and or taking drugs.
These are nothing more then band aids at best.
Others are so tired that they are unable to sleep or do not sleep well.
Via this Meetup group you can meetup and handle this situation.
You no doubt will be able to find out about all types of modalities that offer non drug solutions to stress.
Step one Join our meetup group
Step two RSVP yes to one of them and make sure you actually go to them even if the thought of going is already making you tired
Human beings are social beings so make sure you use Meetup to the max.
It's almost certain that you will feel much better once you have done something new as this will extrovert you.
Social shyness caused by stress is best handled by socializing with others.
Being around other people is great therapy and it works.
If you are a person that helps people deal with stress you are most welcome to apply to become one of our event organizers.
