Shadow Work & The Laws of the Universe

Join, Stephen Fiyalko, President of the Melbourne Theosophical Society, for our weekly meditation and discussion group on the Laws (principles not rules) of the Universe.
This week on Friday, 12 September at 5:30pm we will share a video on the deeply transformative spiritual practice of Shadow Work — what it really means, its psychological roots, its spiritual importance, and how it leads to healing, wholeness, and inner peace.
Rooted in the teachings of Carl Jung and echoed throughout ancient wisdom traditions, Shadow Work is not about fixing yourself — it's about reclaiming the parts of you that were buried in shame, fear, and pain. By learning to embrace your inner shadows, you begin to dissolve emotional triggers, heal past wounds, and reconnect with the divine light within.
If you've ever felt stuck, emotionally reactive, or disconnected from your truth, this video will guide you into a deeper understanding of how the unconscious shapes your reality — and how to take your power back through conscious integration.
Our discussion will aim to bring to our awareness the nature of the Shadow and its influence on one’s journey along the Spiritual path and the kind of resources one might utilise to understand and manage that influence.
The premise of the Laws of the Universe and these discussions are that there are no co-incidences in life. Their purpose is revealed by our experiences within the Law of Cause and Effect and all of the Laws in tandem which are designed to teach us about ourselves and foster growing awareness leading to spiritual transformation. Thus our lives, spiritual growth and consciousness carry us on a very purposeful, personal journey.
Participants are encouraged to share their own stories as part of the continuing discussion. We start each session with meditation and a brief energetic self attunement which illustrates the power of the Laws. This week a short audio-video will precede our open discussion.
