In the past, emphasis in Astrology has been upon the personality, known as Exoteric or personality-centered astrology. However, since the 1960s there has been a movement of a new awakening to a realization that there is ‘more’. This has come from those who want a deeper, wider and higher exploration and explanation of who we really are and why we are here on planet Earth.

This questioning and quest has been answered through Esoteric Astrology, also known as Soul-Centered Astrology, which has been tailored for the Western mind by the Tibetan Master of the Spiritual Hierarchy, Djwhal Khul and his amanuensis, Alice A. Bailey.

Esoteric Astrology explains who is and what is, the Soul and regards the astrological birth chart as a blueprint for Soul Consciousness and development. When the personality is ready the Soul is able to guide, lead and direct the personality as its instrument of expression.

Rosslyn Ellis has been a passionate participant in the Theosophical Society’s Esoteric Astrology Group for two years. She is currently facilitating this weekly gathering. A former school teacher, Rosslyn has a deep devotion to the teachings of Alice Bailey and is greatly conversant in the knowledge of Michael D. Robbins’ magnum opus Tapestry of the Gods.
