Only $25 per person – please pay at start of the walk (cash or cards)
Starting Point: Meet outside tables at 'Eaglemont Dish Cafe' - 72 Silverdale Rd, Eaglemont This place is right next to the Eaglemont Railway entrance and very easy to find (If you think you can't see us please call me on 0405-779-789 so I can wave to you.)
About This Walk: Eaglemont is a warm, charming and yet almost forgoten suburb on the Eltham Hurtbridge Line. Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin had designed; Canberra, Leeton, Griffith, Mount Eliza and Castlecrag (in Sydney) as well as many other sites around Australia. Eaglemont is just one of those suburban areas that holds commanding views of all the suburbs around including the city. Together with some historical homesteads in the suburb and adjoining suburbs we'll trek area to learn more.
After Our Walk - we'll go to a place you'd never expect where locals hang out for drinks or a bite to eat if you wish
How To Get There:
Trains - alight at Eaglemont which is on the Eltham Hurtbridge line (Between Ivanhoe and Heidelberg stations)
