It's been a long time since I first setup this group. The whole environment changed dramatically. There are getting more and more language-exchange-meetup groups in HK, nothing like 2009 when I first setup this MELEHK group. Some even take this as a competition, treating each other like a competitor. It’s social meetup groups, I believe we should learn to cooperate rather than taking it as a competition.
This world, going forward, is a world with cooperation. Nothing like before. Why bringing the biz world model, the ever so cruel zero-sum game world, in our learning driven meetup community?
Cooperation isn't easy to achieve, must act on it. Otherwise, change won't happen at all.
