The purpose of this group is to help one another make meaningful changes to daily routines, to promote a healthy body and ultimately a peaceful mind. An integral part of the process will be to confront your anxieties in all its forms that limit your progress. This will be done in a setting that is specially designed for deep reflection and meaningful action. Accountability and patience are important values that are cherished by the group.
Anyone attempting to make changes in their life will acknowledge that there are very few places that provide a nurturing environment for this. The sole intention of this group is to provide a place and time for people to connect with others who seek more out of life. It is designed for those who feel like they are navigating through this life alone but also feel like they have something meaningful to offer this world. It is also designed for those who may be truly lost but sense that there's something more to life than your suffering. It starts with a drop of optimism and an ounce of perspective which we can be develop and grow.
Joining the group will require direct communication with the host to evaluate your level of commitment. A smaller number of participants can lead to a higher quality of interactions, which is key. Tracking and reaching clearly defined health and wellness goals will be the focus.
Events will comprise of small group therapy sessions with direction from the host. It will be guided by myself, an experienced psychiatric registered nurse, and other professionals that meet my standard for excellence. Ultimately individuals within the group will set the content of our discussions. We will focus our meetings on real world issues and the fears that we all face. If there are individual concerns that go beyond the scope of this group, I will help you find the help you need.

I'm not going anywhere. I'm here for the long haul. My commitment is to help others reach their their physical health goals through a mellofit process. This sentiment comes from a deep place and my own struggle to overcome challenges in my life.
