This is a weekday group (perfect for all you weekend workers out there!) for beginner hikers and primitive campers.

We don’t normally sleep in cabins or campers. Tents, hammocks, tarps, and cowboy camping is our usual mode of sleep.

We often stay in state parks but if you know of someplace interesting, please don't hesitate to tell us about it!

We'll take some hikes and go out to see the sights! Along the way, we'll hopefully make some friends and enjoy each other's company!

FEES: Normally there's not a fee but please bring some heat-treated store bought firewood. Or buy some wood from the park or gather a ton from around the campsite. The more wood the merrier! Any left over wood is for the organizers to take for future trips.

If you are a smoker, bring a can to put your butts in. Nothing goes into the campfire but wood.

We are a child and pet friendly group.

If you do bring a pet, please bury their doo-doo or pick it up and carry it out. Your pet must also be on a leash and well controlled.

If your child uses disposable diapers/pullups, you need to carry them out.
