-----------------------
Do you ever feel this way?
â You join lots of events, but itâs hard to actually make friends you can talk to casually...
â You can never stick to an exercise routine...
â You want a hobby that gives you a break from language exchange...
â You want to spend less time staring at your phone...
â You want to try dancing, but donât want to be surrounded by only advanced people...
I struggled with the same thingsâduring college, on study abroad and working holidays, and even after I started working.
But when I finally gathered the courage to start dancing, something changed. I naturally built an exercise habit, started stretching every day on my own, and most importantly, I made friends who feel like âhometown friendsââpeople I feel safe with, but who also inspire me to grow.
I think the reason this worked was because of two things: meeting regularly and doing something together.
Still, it actually took me more than six months to build deep friendships... because many people would leave right after dance class ended.
Thatâs why I want to create a Dance à Social Circle, exclusively for adults and beginners, where the goal isnât to âget goodâ but to have fun!
Weâll start with some casual chatting, do plenty of pair work, and regularly stop for food or hang out after. With this setup, I believe we can build deep, natural friendships much faster than I did on my own.
This circle is my small dream.
I want it to be a safe space for anyone who has always wanted to try dance but never had the courage to start. And I hope to meet friends who will join me in making this dream come true ð
Would you like to be part of the very first members and help me grow this circle together?

ðSongs weâll dance to
Not decided yet, so requests are welcome!
K-POP, J-POP, US-POP, or anything trending on social media is fine! (Basically female songs. Male songs are also OK as long as they are not too difficult.) Weâll usually just do the chorus! Iâm leaning toward cool songs âš
âŒCurrent ideas:
- aespaâs songs
- folded / Kehlani
- TWICEâs songs
- XGâs songs
- KATSEYEâs songs
- Mantra / JENNE
- Sticky / KISS OF LIFE
- ANTIFRAGILE / LE SSERAFIM
- Nostalgic songs (any genre)
