Amitabha Buddha's Birthday Celebration & Korean temple food feast [Free event]

We would like to invite you to celebrate Amitabaha Buddha's birthday together. There will be a Buddhist chanting and ceremony for Amitabha Buddha's birthday.

In the West, we all know Shakyamuni Buddha who is the most popular and we know his life story to inspire us to meditate and cultivate for enlightenment. In fact, there are so many Buddhas in the universe and Shakyamuni Buddha taught us about Amitabha Buddha. In the East, many people learn to recite Amitabha Buddha's name and it is popularly known as Pure Land Buddhism.

The great Master Hsuan Hua said "You should not disbelieve this because a long time ago, Amitabha signed an agreement with us which said, "after I realize Buddhahood, you can recite my name and do so as well." Since we signed our names, if we recite, we are sure to become Buddhas."

On November 24, we would like to invite everyone to celebrate Amitabha's birthday together and then Master YongHua will give a Dharma talk. Anyone can participate and ask questions to learn more about Buddhism.

After the Buddhist ceremony and Dharma talk, you can join our Korean temple food feast. This event is free and donation base. We would like to share what we have and celebrate this auspicious day with others.
