Details
MARK YOUR CALENDARS for Sunday, June 1, 2025 @ 1 pm. Delta Ondine’s Blues Brunch series is delighted to welcome Jad Tariq to Hernando's Hide-A-Way. Tariq is a Memphis-based Rhythm and Blues/Soul guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter who plays a lot of 1950’s style jump blues, and swing! Cover is $5.
Hernando's is NOT in Hernando. It's at 3210 Old Hernando Road just off Brooks Road, in Memphis, near Graceland. Doors are open by 12:45.
Ondine is a Memphis-based alt-blues singer-songwriter who hosts and manages this increasingly popular event at historic Hernando's Hide-A-Way. Ondine opens with an original alt-blues rock set at 1 pm, followed immediately by the day's featured act. Ondine works to bring in a diverse array of local and traveling artists, presenting world-class shows, in a venue that is relatively small and accessible.
Hernando's is under new management, so the particulars below are in a bit of flux. What you read below is based on only one visit since the change.
Hernando’s currently has an abbreviated menu you will find at the bar. It will likely include a smash burger and wings with a few available sides. They also plan to have a Sunday Only Special Banana Bread French Toast! and Micheladas made with Wiseacre beer!
Orders for food and drink are taken at the bar. If you have any special needs for condiments etc., best to mention those when you order. You will be given a number for food that will be delivered to your table, but wait for your drink at the bar. They are currently only serving beer, including several on tap. There is a self-serve water station near the patio door.
Tips of 20% will be automatically added to your tab.
Parking is plentiful. There is some in front of the building and plenty on either side.
Hernando's has a small staff, and most are handling multiple duties, so please be patient.
Prefer to be outside? There's a very nice enclosed patio just outside the bar area. You can still hear the music out there.
