What we’re about
This is a group for gay men interested in having French conversations on a regular basis. I started this group to have fun/engaging conversations in French and to meet new people. This group is not about grammar lessons, verb conjugations or anything like that. Just straight-up French conversations on a regular basis (every two weeks).
Beginners are definitely welcome, however, this meetup is not for people who do not know any French. We speak in French the entire time so it'll be a bit boring for you if you can't somewhat understand. If you're a beginner, you may be listening more than speaking but we do encourage you to try a few sentences. If you stumble or don't know a word, who cares, look it up or say it in English and continue on! I also encourage you to correct/help others with words when they're stumbling. It's a good way to learn new vocabulary and keeps everyone engaged.
Lastly, we respectfully ask allies of gay men not to attend this group, in order to preserve an environment grounded in shared experiences.
