Join us for the inaugural event of the Montreal Mendix User Group! We are excited to welcome everyone to our first community meetup, where we'll have two insightful talks on Mendix.

Anyone from BDC may attend, however a attendance limit of 10 has been set for external visitors. Visitors please bring identification for access purposes.

**Talk 1: Mendix Workflows**
Patrick will kick off the event with an overview of Mendix workflows. He will demonstrate the process-first approach to workplace automation, showcasing how Mendix can streamline and optimize your business processes.

**Talk 2: AI Integration and Multi-Lingual Applications**
Brent will follow with a demonstration of the powerful capabilities of the Mendix platform and its integration with AWS services. Learn how to leverage these tools to create dynamic and engaging multi-lingual applications that cater to a diverse range of users.
Whether you're new to Mendix or an experienced user, this meetup will provide valuable insights and opportunities to connect with fellow Mendix enthusiasts. We look forward to seeing you there!

Je suis un autodidacte, curieux et farceur. Alors que mes études académiques concernaient la comptabilité et la fiscalité, j' ai toujours entretenu une passion pour l'informatique. Après un début de carrière en Europe, je me suis expatrié au Canada en tant que chercheur etranger pour finalement devenir citoyen canadien. Ma rencontre avec Mendix a commencé comme un pari: monter une équipe Mendix pour un client à Montréal. Nous sommes en 2014. Depuis, j' ai eu la chance de côtoyer des personnes formidables issues de la grande famille Mendix ainsi que de grands clients internationaux. J’ai fait partie de TimeSeries (Golden, Colorado), de l’Expert Service Team de Boston (Washington), d’Avertra à Amman (Jordanie) pour revenir finalement à Montréal et continuer à promouvoir Mendix en français.

I am self-taught, curious and a prankster. While my academic studies focused on accounting and taxation, I have always had a passion for IT. After starting my career in Europe, I moved to Canada as a foreign researcher and finally became a Canadian citizen. My meeting with Mendix started as a bet: setting up a Mendix team for a client in Montreal. It's 2014. Since then, I've had the chance to work with great people from the big Mendix family as well as major international clients. I was part of TimeSeries (Golden, Colorado), the Expert Service Team in Boston (Washington), Avertra in Amman (Jordan) and finally returned to Montreal where I continue to promote Mendix in French.

**Brent**
Brent Eichstadt is a senior Mendix Developer at Comotion Business Solutions, where he leverages his expertise in the Mendix platform to develop innovative and robust business solutions for clients. With his expert Mendix certification, Brent has demonstrated a mastery of the platform and a deep understanding of its capabilities.
In addition to his work at Comotion, Brent is an active contributor to the Mendix community, publishing a number of apps on the marketplace that showcase his skills and creativity. These include the OpenAI connector, Holidays API, User Agreements, and Custom Role Builder, among others.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Brent enjoys building his petrol tracking Mendix apps, which he uses to track his fuel consumption and expenses. He is also involved in his local church and spends time with his friends, exploring new places and trying new things.
With his passion for Mendix development and his commitment to innovation, Brent is a valuable asset to the Mendix community and a respected leader in the field.
