When you commit your changes they are then also visible to your project team members. This is due to the version control that Mendix offers within their platform. As of Mendix 9 your version control can be on git, where previously it was SVN. Git is the standard for Mendix 10 and onwards. So git some extra knowledge on what the differences are and what is coming next.

Join us to discover how version control works specifically in the context of Mendix. What are the differences in SVN and git. In this meetup we will provide insight into the inner workings of git, the differences of SVN and git, and the changes it entails within Mendix. Furthermore the roadmap of version control will be discussed and explained. We will do this by means of 3 presentations:

Mendix Version Control - Learn how version control works in Mendix.
Version Control Roadmap - Learn what way version control will develop itself within Mendix, and what is coming next.

Speakers:
· Martijn Jansen
Martijn is a Mendix Expert developer at LINKIT. He is specialized in building solutions and generic software components. He will demo how git is integrated in Mendix and the do's and don'ts.

· Sascha Klomp
Sascha is specialized in DevOps and Cloud Native Development on Azure. He enjoys working with Git and is excited to take you along for a technical deep dive in the tooling. He will teach you some simple tricks to become a git hero in no time!

· Tom Knippenberg
Tom is the Mendix product manager responsible for Collaboration and Version Control. In the true 'Go make it'-spirit he develops video games and builds furniture in his spare time.

Parking
Parking is possible in the parking lot directly in front of the building, or around the building on the parking deck.
