Mendix Q&A: Integration best practices in complex app landscapes - by Appronto

Almost every Mendix app integrates with one or more external systems. In this meetup we'll discuss the best practices to do this with Mendix. We'll also discuss the limits of Mendix capabilities as a platform. How far can you go with Mendix, and how far should you go with Mendix?! What if you have a Microservices Architecture with dozen of (Mendix) apps and what if there are dozens or hundreds of integration points? Will point 2 point integrating still be the best approach? Furthermore we will demonstrate the new Native Rest features within the Mendix modeler and how you can use them to eliminate the Mendix Appstore Rest Module.

We'll also discuss an integration platform such as Dell Boomi in this meetup. Dell Boomi can be complementary to Mendix to deal with more complex situations. Topics that we'll address are API Management, Masterdata management and complex integrations. With some real examples we'll show you how Mendix and Boomi can work very well together.
