Paddle South Lake Mendocino

Lake is full, completely over parking lot. Let's enjoy being social together Friday morning while paddling on the water. We'll start early to enjoy the calm lake & look out for bald eagle pair & other wildlife.

Paddling is a wonderful form of exercise, adventure and meditation.

Launch kayaks at the south boat ramp (drive up near water). We can paddle south along shoreline. Calm morning, 100° high is forecast. Lets take notice of fresh air & beautiful scenery (check out photos from past events). We'll take out for a snack after an hour or so. We'll paddle for a couple hours, total, or until we're sufficiently exercised. If you don't have a boat read below.**

Directions: south boat ramp. Park near ramp.

Itinerary: Meet at the south ramp parking area at 9:20 am and unload/ prepare boats at water. Please arrive earlier if needing time to set up an inflatable boat. Boats get inspected for mussels, so please ensure they are clean & dry upon arrival.

What to Bring: Kayak or Canoe, Paddle, PFD (must be worn while we are on the water), water-type shoes, Water, Snack, Hat/sunscreen, hammock or camp chair, Dry change of clothes in your car for after the paddle (just in case of getting too wet).

**Loaner boat may be available. There is a $10 transport fee for boat & gear loans. Send a message to David directly to inquire about availability before rsvping or for more information. After boat loan is confirmed, rsvp will be valid.
