MTB bike Lake Mendocino eastside trail

Details

Join the Mendocino County Outdoor Recreation Group for a scenic mtb (mountain bike) ride along a breathtaking trail above Lake Mendocino. We'll start at 9:30 am in order to return before afternoon sun. We'll pedal from Deerwood Trailhead entrance to Bushay campground & back (about 10 miles). Immerse yourself in the beauty of the outdoors as you pedal up & glide down Eastside trail's steep, windy hills. As this singletrack/road has ups, downs and technical obstacles , it's important to have a functioning bike that's up for the challenge. Walking some steep sections is common. A bike with a front suspension fork is recommended, if not full suspension. Goat-head thorns often parallel trail. Please have repair kit, spare tube & pump. Also, have adequate water supply. This event is perfect for experienced mtb cycling enthusiasts looking for an adventure-filled, workout morning outdoors.

Don't miss out on this unique biking experience that promises to be both invigorating and memorable!
