This is not an 'easy' hike. It's uphill 1600 feet in three miles, and some places are very steep and very slippery. We may choose to go for a longer walk, depending on various factors. I plan on wearing my most rugged boots with good tread, 3 layers of clothing - including fleece jacket and wind-breaker/raincoat. I'll be using my hiking poles and drinking lots of water.
Heavy rain cancels.
We will carpool from Pear Tree. Arrive a few minutes early. We leave at 8:45.
Bring snack food, and lunch. Wear boots that you can slip around in. Wear layers of clothing. Bring Navigation - map and compass. this is not a guided hike, it's a hike where people get together and hike.
At any time you may be responsible for knowing where you are on the mountain. Please know how to navigate for yourself.
I declare the leaders of this meetup are not responsible for the members well-being. We're all here to enjoy the outdoors.
