Book Study Stroll - The California Naturalist Handbook

Details
Join me in getting off of social media, youtube, facebook, and all those other virtual habits that I have when I could be reading a real book, and walking in reality.
The California Naturalist handbook is a book co-written by my neighbor Deborah Edelman. It is used by the Hopland Field Station with their naturalist course.
There are 8 chapters and we will commit to reading two chapters a week, then take a stroll along the easy trail at Low Gap chatting about what we read.
Goals for me: share the love of reading with others, get off of the cell phone, and commit to finishing a book in four weeks. This is the sort of book that one can't speed through, with exercises and field trips suggested. If we like it, we can do this again in the fall with a longer time frame.
I have had a kindle version since it came out, but I finally got a paper copy from the Gallery Bookstore in Mendocino. I'm sure Mendocino Book company also has a copy. and I'm thinking that some of you might already have your own copy. I'm sure the library also has a copy.
Let me know if you're available to read and walk! We will commit to finish the reading before the walk.
