About us

Menfulness is an inclusive social community for men in York.
Our goal is to bring men together to socialise, exercise, enjoy themselves, talk and let off steam in a non judging, friendly and supportive environment. These are all essential for wellbeing and health, both physical and mental. Permission is there to speak up at any of our events about what you're going through.

Community Garden Re-Launch Party!

We're so grateful to all the volunteers who have helped us get our allotment up and running. We've done so well we've been gifted the neighbouring plot by the Town Council!

We're holding a special event to do some digging out and tidying up of the new plot (we will even take down an old shed!)

As always though the most important bit is to get some nice lads together to have a natter and put the world to rights. Seen as it's Trustee Sam's birthday, we will bring along snacks and drinks for those booked on!

Please wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear for the weather and terrain. We will provide tools

PARKING - There is very limited space to the front of the allotments so please aim to park on the street on either Station Road or Calf Close just round the corner.

BUS - You can also reach the allotment via the Number 1 bus and get off at the shopping centre/Memorial Hall and walk over the roundabout and down Station Road.
