Men in the Natural

This group is for adult men interested in naturism and nudism in social settings. My goal is to create a safe and respectful space for social nudity, body acceptance, and genuine connection among like minded men. The purpose of the group is to normalize nonsexual nudity, acceptance in one’s body, and build community through consistent social gatherings. There is no tolerance for harassment, unwanted advances, ageism, or body shaming.

I am a part of several naturist and social groups and have attended events through Meetup and FetLife. What I have noticed is that many existing groups were created years ago and are now used sporadically, with limited discussion and infrequent events. While I cannot promise instant success or perfection my intention is to be active and consistent with regular meetups and events throughout Rhode Island, Boston, New York, New Jersey, and the Springfield area.

Some of the events I would like to organize, all held in the natural, include

• Paint and sip gatherings
• Newcomer orientation and introduction nights
• Book or podcast discussion evenings
• Yoga, stretching, or massage sessions
• Games or movie nights
• Beach days or hiking outings
• Sauna, steam room, hot tub, or pool gatherings
• Food and beverage events such as potlucks

Consent, respect, inclusivity, body positivity, and privacy are essential values of this group. Regarding privacy, if members are comfortable, I would also like to create an Instagram and X Twitter presence to share event updates and promote the group. Any photography would only take place with clear consent and approval from those photographed. Participation in photography would always be optional, and alternatives such as neck down or partial images would be available. No one should ever feel pressure to be photographed. It is not a requirement.

Many members of this group may identify as gay or queer men, while others may not. All are welcome as long as they respect the group’s values. This is a social naturist group first and foremost. At times there may be optional and clearly communicated opportunities for more “adult” or intimate socializing after the official events if that’s something that people want. Everyone would always be notified in advance, participation would be optional, and that is not the primary focus of the group.

The goal as of now is to host the first event at somewhere between 5-10 members joined. As stated prior I travel from the New York, Rhode Island, Boston, New Jersey and Springfield area so the first event would be hosted wherever the majority of those who initially join are.
