Songwriters in-the-round for Mental Health
Details
In honor of Mental Health Month, enjoy a songwriter-in-the-round style performance from three local performers!
Singer-songwriters Kimberlye Gold, Mardi Morillo, and Gaby Castro will join us to share their talents. Enjoy some beautiful music and personal tales of inspiration and healing.
The artists:
Kimberlye Gold spent many years honing her skills living and working in the trenches of LA/NYC/Nashville, working with hitmakers from all those major music towns before returning to her roots. Her love for multiple genres of music spanning decades is on full display in her combo platter of pop/rock/R&B/country original and cover tunes.
Gaby Castro is a folk/Americana singer-songwriter born and raised in the heart of Silicon Valley. Her voice is described as soft and sweet, her lyrics contemplative and powerful, reminiscent of songwriters such as Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, and Taylor Swift. She's gained a loyal following from her songs about life, love, and mental health.
Mardi Morillo writes and covers memorable and emotional songs of love, loss, and hope. After losing partial vision, Mardi quit his job as a CIO and found his purpose writing songs and sharing his beautiful guitar playing and vocals. Influenced by John Mayer and Coldplay, Mardi’s albums include Love Stories and A Long Way to Go.
