Erle Stanley Gardner: “That Perry Mason Guy (Temecula Museum virtual visit)

Details
Famous for the Perry Mason mysteries (he wrote 82 of them), author Erle Stanley Gardner made Temecula, California his home for 33 years. We’ll pay a virtual visit to the Temecula Valley Museum to learn more about Gardner and check out their reproduction of his office!
Historian Mindy Johnson will answer our questions as she digs deep into Gardner’s wild life of crime—fictional, of course—and gives us a look at his personal collection, old-school novels, and the permanent exhibit that’ll make any mystery buff tip their fedora.
About the Temecula Valley Museum:
Located in California’s Riverside County, the Temecula Valley Museum shares the rich history of the Temecula Valley, with exhibits representing local life through time and the different cultures that influenced the development of the area. Displays include handcrafted artifacts, cultural items, ranching and farming equipment, documents, and photographs, with exhibits depicting key stories, including those of the Luiseno people, the Mission San Luis Rey period, establishment of the ranchos, and transportation influences including the stagecoach and railroads. The museum is also home to an interactive discovery area for children, packed with playful hands-on learning experiences.
