Lyra’s life in Oxford is upset by a series of troubling events: the attempted poisoning of her uncle Lord Asriel, a series of kidnappings that include her best friend Roger, and news about a mysterious substance called Dust. Lyra and her daemon Pantalaimon set out on a journey to save her friend and uncover the truth.

The Sci-Fi/Fantasy Book Group meets on the 4th Monday of each month.
