This duo's melodies will sweep you off on a virtual island vacation, full of the infectious rhythms of calypso, reggae, zouk, and soca music.

About Harry Best:

A native of the Caribbean island nation of St. Lucia, Harry Best is a prolific songwriter who formed his band Shabang in 1995. The group utilizes its Caribbean steel drums to perform a wide variety of exciting dance and concert tunes, with music ranging from infectious Afro-Caribbean rhythms of reggae, calypso, soca, bossa, samba and salsa to engrossing arrangements of jazz and popular standards. Affectionately known as "pans," steel drums are handcrafted and finely-tuned from 55-gallon oil barrels.
