Celebrate National Poetry Month by sharing and listening to great poems with us!

We’re opening the mic! Whether you’re sharing your original work, or a favorite piece by another poet—or you’d just like to sit and listen—let’s enjoy some wonderful poetry together.

If you'd like to read a poem, but don't have one to bring, we'll have copies of poems by a variety of famous poets available.

Our host for the evening will be local poet Charlotte Muse.

About Charlotte Muse:

Award-winning Menlo Park poet Charlotte Muse received her MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. She has taught poetry there and for UC Berkeley Extension, the Stanford Upward Bound Program, The Foothill Summer Youth College, the Lifelines Project for cancer patients and their caregivers, and at many other venues.

This free event received funding support from the Friends of the Menlo Park Library.
