Join Men's Group NJ for our every-other-Saturday meetup!
Featuring ice breaker, check-ins, and a discussion of the week!

This week's discussion: Making Sense of Suffering.

A conversation about making sense of suffering and finding meaning when life gets hard. We’ll draw briefly from the Bible and concentration camp survivor Viktor Frankl (note: this is NOT a religious group—no beliefs or conclusions will be promoted). Come simply to think, listen, and share.

Please bring a CHAIR. (If you don’t have a chair, please attend anyway; we will have a couple extra.)

See location below. We will be in a shaded field next to one of the parking lots/bathrooms.

ABOUT MEN'S GROUP:
Sharing authentically is core to Men’s Group. Many men, even if surrounded by friends and family, feel isolated and alone in their true experience of life. Sharing – from your heart (distinct from sharing from your head) – is challenging, enlightening, and liberating.
This meetup will occur every two weeks. Attendees are encouraged to attend regularly, rather than as a one-off. (But one-off's are okay as well.)
***
BENEFITS:

  • Experience being heard and seen by other men who do not belittle what you're up to or what you're stopped by.
  • Create and re-create your purpose on an ongoing basis.
  • Be held accountable for who you say you want to be.
  • Explore what it means to be a man.

(+ Confidentiality: what is shared in the group, stays in the group.)
