In almost every serious, deep conversation with men on any topic, in one form or another, you can hear motifs of purpose - purpose of actions, situations, things, their lives, life in general, and the World as a whole. Why is purpose so important to men? Why do men search for purpose, want to be useful, want to do something meaningful, and live meaningful lives? And why do men suffer when this is lacking?
