What is Mental Health First Aid Training Course?
Sign up to be a Mental Health First Aider. Mental Health First Aid is an internationally recognised and accredited course designed to give individuals the knowledge and skills to assist someone who is developing a mental illness or is in a mental health crisis. The MHFA Training course is taught over 4 sessions ; 24th September, 25th September, 15th October and 16th October. You must attend all 4 sessions to join the program and will obtain a certificate after completion of all 12 hours which will make you a qualified mental health first aider.

What does it teach you?
MHFA teaches you how to respond to sufferers of anxiety, depression, psychosis and substance abuse with compassion, active listening and step by step action plans. It will give you the skills and confidence to help yourself and others.
To ensure safety at our event kindly take a RAT test on the day of each event, take a photo and bring it to show the organiser.
The event is a 12 hour program you must attend all sessions, it is a paid training course.
