SNP stands up for Scotland; LibDems built a base in Southwest. However the Midlands has nobody looking out for it. I'd like to build something to discuss how we regain the influence we once had. I've watched 40 years of deterioration in Nottingham. I don't think Labour, Reform, Conservative, LibDems or Greens have the solution. However there are ways to help reverse this. Some of these ironically were supported by "right wingers" like Adam Smith AND progressives. So I'd like to kickstart discussion.
Those who can do online meets or meet outside a Nottm centre coffeehouse particularly welcome. Nottm centred but I'd like to get input from anybody living in historical Saxon area of Mercia, just to make it manageable and judge support. I'll expand it if need be! Plus if you're outside the region with constructive points I'd love to hear them.
Emphasis on sharing experiences and discussing potential solutions our major parties ignore in respectful manner. ANYBODY expressing bigoted views gets instaban. No 2nd chances.
