Els Buttress

We follow the contour path towards & ascend Newlands Ravine. Then about half way up the ravine, we will start the climb up Els Buttress. The first part is the hardest part, then after that is straight forward scramble to the top. We will descend Newlands Ravine. Head for heights & rock scrambling ability is important. Ravine & back to the cars. Rain & strong winds cancels the hike. Duration: +-4hrs 30mins.
