King’s Block House

Hike through Newlands Forest to the King’s Block house on Devils Peak slopes . A hilly hike through a wonderful wooded forest with stunning views from the Block house of the city, V&W Waterfront, Blouberg & around to Muizemberg.

A good level of fitness is required as there are steep ascents & descents on the way. It’s not a beginners hike.

Bring water, snacks, hat, light jacket, R40 guest fee if not a Meridian Hiking Club member. Exact amount would be appreciated, as no change is provided.
