Cable station to Maclears beacon birthday loop on top of Table mountain

Join Kevin for free birthday ride and sunset going the easy route up and down Table mountain with the cable car. Meet 16;00 pm in the queue at the lower cable car station with the cable car up at 16;15. You’ll start by taking the cable car up Table Mountain. Once on top, meet outside the upper washrooms and from there you’ll be guided along while seeing amazing vistas of the backside of Table Mountain including the Hely-Hutchison Reservoir and the rest of the Cape Peninsula on a clear day. It takes about an hour to reach the highest point on Table Mountain, Maclears Beacon at 1085m. From here you’ll relax and take in the sights, then head around to the front side of the loop back to the Cableway. This side offers spectacular views of Cape Town below, Devils Peak, Lions Head, the West Coast and the Winelands.
Free for those with RSA ID and have a birthday in November.
Pensioners with RSA ID pay R130 return payable at payment kiosk or online.

This will be a slow hike partaking in a Cape town problem -viewing the forever sites.
R40 guest fee for non Meridian Hiking Club members.
Bring water, hat ,sunblock ,warm jacket and picnic.
Dinner at Van Hunks afterwards.
