Maclears Beacon with a difference!
Join Linda and Luigi & Friends-
Return Table Mountain cable car ticket is required.
Be in the queue very early... ( we'll be there from 7am to ensure that we're in the first cable car up)
To avoid any delays,
please book your tickets online, SA citizen 60 years of age R130 return, others R450 return. If it's your birthday month you qualify for a free return ticket as a SA citizen .
- First cable car to the top
- Walk towards Platteklip Gorge
- Veer to the right going towards Kasteelpoort
- Left up Smuts Track to Maclears Beacon for our big break
5 Proceed on the front side of Table Mountain overlooking town back to the cable car.
Duration +- 4 hour hike with breaks. No scrambling is involved.
Free participation to all paid up Meridian Hiking Club Members .
Guest Fee of R40.00. ( please bring exact amount)
Remember jackets, hats, sunblock & water.
