Social kayak birding trip on the Zandvlei.

Join us for a fun adventure by kayak birding on the Zandvlei Estuary from Peninsula Canoe clubWe are using a profeesional Kayak company who will provide the kayaks, life jackets, and who will brief us and be out on the water with us. No previous experience necessary, but you will need to be doing the work of paddling with your arms. They will assign us to a kayak and we will all paddle as a group.

*There is a weight limit of 110 kg per individual, so if you are above this weight, you will unfortunately not be able to join on this event.*

*Children over the age of 10 years of age may join the event under the supervision of a parent or a family member.

You will need to wear comfortable flexible clothing and shoes to paddle in, that you do not mind getting a bit wet. If you have neoprene paddle clothing and booties, obviously you can wear these, but it is not essential. Also bring a warm jacket/fleece, waterproof jacket, warm beanie for your head, sunglasses, hat, sunblock, a small rucksack, your water/tea and snacks.

Bring a change of warm clothing for after the event. There are toilet/changing facilities at the car park area.
