What we’re about
Merri-bek Tech is building local web serving across our neighbourhood in order to provide affordable alternatives to big tech, while improving our local resilience in the face of the climate crisis.
We're a grass-roots community group, operating in the area of the City of Merri-bek, but not affiliated with local council. We're also open to working with people in other areas to share technology and approaches.
We run a Naarm (Melbourne) wide Solarpunk meetup in order to collaborate with green technologists from across the city and foster the emergence of related projects.
