Nashua River Rail Trail – Casual No-Drop Ride

Details

Join us for a relaxed ride on the paved, mostly flat and shaded Nashua River Rail Trail. We’ll roll from the Nashua trailhead toward Massachusetts, turn around at a group-agreed point, and head back together. Great for getting miles in, meeting riders, and enjoying an easy weekend spin.

Route Options

  • Standard: ~16–20 miles total (turnaround around the halfway mark).
  • Short: ~10–12 miles total (earlier turnaround).
  • Long: Up to ~24–25 miles total if the group wants to reach the Ayer end and back.

Ride Style

  • Friendly, conversational pace.
  • No-drop: we regroup at intersections and trailheads.
  • Road, hybrid, gravel, and e-bikes welcome (class 1/2).

What to Bring
Helmet (required), water/snacks, spare tube/flat kit, charged lights, sunscreen/bug spray.

Parking/Facilities
Free parking at the Nashua trailhead lot. The trail is paved with minimal road crossings.

Safety & Weather
We follow all trail rules and ride single/double file as appropriate. If weather looks dicey, updates will be posted 2 hours before start.

Organizer Notes

  • New riders welcome! If you’re unsure about pace or distance, message the host.
  • If you RSVP “Yes,” please aim to arrive 10 minutes early for check-in and a quick safety brief.

Contact: Post questions in the event comments or message the organizer.
