Nashua River Rail Trail – Casual No-Drop Ride

Join us for a relaxed ride on the paved, mostly flat and shaded Nashua River Rail Trail. We’ll roll from the Nashua trailhead toward Massachusetts, turn around at a group-agreed point, and head back together. Great for getting miles in, meeting riders, and enjoying an easy weekend spin.
Route Options
- Standard: ~16–20 miles total (turnaround around the halfway mark).
- Short: ~10–12 miles total (earlier turnaround).
- Long: Up to ~24–25 miles total if the group wants to reach the Ayer end and back.
Ride Style
- Friendly, conversational pace.
- No-drop: we regroup at intersections and trailheads.
- Road, hybrid, gravel, and e-bikes welcome (class 1/2).
What to Bring
Helmet (required), water/snacks, spare tube/flat kit, charged lights, sunscreen/bug spray.
Parking/Facilities
Free parking at the Nashua trailhead lot. The trail is paved with minimal road crossings.
Safety & Weather
We follow all trail rules and ride single/double file as appropriate. If weather looks dicey, updates will be posted 2 hours before start.
