Windham Rail Trail

Details
The Windham Rail Trail is part of the larger Salem to Concord Bikeway vision. Back in 2003, the State of New Hampshire formed a Citizens Advisory Committee to study options for a continuous Bicycle & Pedestrian path along the I-93 corridor. The goal:
- Provide an alternative mode of transportation
- Offer diverse recreational opportunities
- Boost commerce and connectivity across communities
Today, the Windham Rail Trail is a shining example of that vision—smooth pavement, tree-lined scenery, and a safe, car-free ride through Southern New Hampshire.
### What to Bring
- Road or hybrid bike in good working condition
- Helmet (required)
- Water bottle & light snacks
- Spare tube/pump (just in case)
This is a no-drop ride — we’ll stick together, regroup as needed, and enjoy a relaxed morning on the trail.
Come ride, connect, and experience part of New Hampshire’s growing rail trail network!
