iNaturalist Workshop: Explore, Identify, Contribute

Workshop Highlights

  • Ensuring your observations contribute to community science with confidence
  1. Hands-On Practice
  • Guided use of iNaturalist along the Merritt Island NWR Boardwalk Trail (or similar site)
  • Real-time observation, photo documentation, and uploads
  • Group Q&A and support from instructors

What to Bring

  • Smartphone or tablet with the iNaturalist app installed (and account created in advance, if possible)
  • Comfortable walking shoes for the boardwalk trail (some areas may be wet)
  • Refillable water bottle and sun protection
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring nature!
