(eg if you have just come out as lgbtq, new to the area, want an addition/alternative to the "scene")

PLEASE TRY TO ARRIVE AT 6.30 IF YOU ARE NEW AND WANT TO ATTEND A NEWBIE MEET:)

(but you can arrive later -upto 8.30-and will still be warmly welcomed)

MEETS EVERY 4 X TUESDAYS.

Our Socials are LIGHTLY hosted(with the small facilitated welcome/intro meet(s) for first-timers); **they are SOCIAL groups, plus an initial support (the welcome meetings))for newcomers!**

Although the venue is LGBTQ-friendly,it is mixed; though we are in a SEMI-SEPARATE area, made up of of:

*Two, adjacent areas*

Go through main door, and turn left and you will see one of the hosts sitting by the FIRSTof our(adjacent) areas:)

LOOK OUT FOR OUR COLOURFUL "MERSEYSIDE LGBTQ(18+) GROUPS" FLIERS.

**Behind this is our SECOND, adjacent space; this is a semi-separate room, with slightly pulled curtains.*

ONE SPACE LEADS INTO THE OTHER!

One of the Hosts will be sat by the MAIN FRONT DOOR to direct you to our spaces; but only upto 7.15.

If you arrive after 7.15, and cannot see us, ask at Bar for "Social Group"

Medium-sized tables; and, in the semi-separate room, little alcove tables (Plus one long-linked central set of tables, for intro meet.)

Space to mingle, and to change tables/rooms.

*NEWCOMERS; AND WELCOME/INTRODUCTION MEETS*:

If you are new,TRY NOT TO BE TOO NERVOUS: one of our hosts will be seated NEXT TO THE MAIN VENUE FRONT DOOR( from 6.20 till 7.15; after that, please follow the directions -in the text-to our area).

The host(s) will welcome you, and point you to our section, and to the Welcome Meet:)

*If you have just come out as lgbtq, or have not been to an lgbtq event before, or to this particular group, or our new to Merseyside,we strongly recommend this introduction/welcome meet:)*

FIRST INTRODUCTION/WELCOME MEET, at 6.30;so you gently relax into the evening; and chat to a smaller group of people, and share interests:)

The intro meet is not obligatory; but strongly recommended!

The venue is wheel-chair accessible throughout, and is all on the flat (ground floor)

You pay, at the bar, directly, per person, per item.NO group bills!

The (recommended)minimum spend is to make it worthwhile for the venue to host us.Any money, therefore, goes direct to the venue, not to our group!

We are wholly non profit-making; and unfunded

There is a tapas menu; plus a general menu, with veggie/vegan options throughout. SERVED TILL ABOUT 8.

but NO PRESSURE TO EAT! You can just buy a drink or two!
