AWS AI/ML User Group Kenya x HUG Meru AWS Terraform Pre-Event Session

Join us on Wednesday, 7th May 2025, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm EAT for an essential Introduction to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform workshop, hosted virtually via Zoom by Hashicorp User Group Meru.

This session serves as the official pre-event to the AWS Terraform GameDay happening on 9th May 2025, organized in collaboration with AWS AI/ML User Group Kenya and Hashicorp User Group Meru.

## What to Expect

This workshop is designed as a foundational Level 100 introduction to the core concepts of Infrastructure as Code and how Terraform enables automated, repeatable cloud infrastructure deployments on AWS. It will cover:

• Basics of Infrastructure as Code and its benefits
• Overview of Terraform and its role in managing AWS resources
• Hands-on guidance on setting up your Terraform environment
• Preparing you for the hands-on challenges in the upcoming GameDay event

Attendance and participation in this pre-event workshop is mandatory to be eligible for selection to the AWS Terraform GameDay on 9th May. It ensures all participants have the necessary foundational knowledge to fully engage in the GameDay experience.
