Understanding SNIA SSD Performance Project

The Solid State Storage Performance Test Specification (SSS PTS), provided by SNIA, defines a suite of tests and methodologies necessary to enable comparative testing of individual Enterprise and Client SSD performance. The Understanding SSD Performance project is intended to educate users about how to use the SSS PTS to make intelligent decisions about SSD performance.

For the April MESS meetup, we will review the SSS PTS test suite, the data collected to date, and how the MESS membership can use these tools and resulting data to their advantage. The SSSI will be presenting; more details on the speaker coming soon.
