Dear Augsburgers,

I've missed meeting with y'all this past month! So let's be sure to mark our calendars for the next meeting of the Augsburg Group: 13 Jan, 4p @ Crystal Springs Grocery.

Since it'll have been a while, here's what I'd like to do. Let's re-read articles 1-13 (https://bookofconcord.org/augsburg-confession/) , carefully, and in conversation with the book chapter you can find here: https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:US:287ee641-1576-483c-ab07-59cfa325ca5b. That comes from "Authentic Christianity: How Lutheran Theology Speaks to a Post-Modern World" by Gene Veith and Trevor Sutton.

When we meet, what we want to discuss is the interconnection of our faith in the Incarnation of the Word with the embodied, sacramental way of being church that we joyfully practice. A God to be seen, touched, eaten and drunk: now that's the God for me! And for you.
