What we’re about
This is an online group to connect people who follow Christ, are Torah-observant, and are living--or want to live like the Acts Church: communally and sharing major assets.
I'm planning to have online study events as well as meet and greets for communal living and other topics related to the Bible. Send me a message if you want to participate because there are some fake accounts on meetup. (ill talk to people individually to see)
A little about me and my purpose here if you are interested: I'm a software developer, I live in Lexington, I have been visiting different communities that practice communal living (communes) in America for the past few years. Doctrine and higher theology don't concern me as much as attitude which flows naturally to obedience. (Matthew 21:28-32) It would take me too much space to fully explain why I believe that so send me a message and interrogate me if you want to know. One example of this: I am a Trinitarian but we also have someone who isn't and I still consider her a sister in Christ.
Whatever your final goals, you are welcome, I am planning on eventually relocating to Jordan because of the problems with the cultural influence in the west making us more isolated, selfish, and less able to form communities like this. However, I don't think this is impossible to overcome through being careful about what you allow in your community (like the Amish do) and some people might be called to stay here.
