Join Honest Sirens, a San Antonio cover band in its early gigging phase, for open playalong rehearsals where anyone is welcome to jump in, even if you haven’t had time to practice. These sessions are a low-pressure way to make music with others, try out songs in a live band setting, and see how a working group runs rehearsal. If you discover you really love the material and can comfortably hold your parts, there may be opportunities to join us on paid or tip-based gigs as demand grows.

What playalong sessions are:

  1. A chance to play with a working local band that’s actively building its gig calendar.
  2. A chance to try a wide variety of tunes, from pop to rock and beyond.
  3. A chance to be invited to paid or tip-based gigs when venues ask us to bring in more players and you’re comfortable nailing your parts.

How playalong sessions work:

  1. Sessions run like a regular rehearsal for Patty (Creative Director) and Stephen (Operations Manager), so things move quickly.
  2. If you don’t have charts or tracks ready, you’re welcome to watch, listen in, and follow along with Patty or Stephen.
  3. If you’re here just to get experience and have fun, there’s no pressure to practice beforehand.
  4. If you’re aiming to be part of live gigs (paid or tips), please come having practiced the material before the playalong.
