"The Devil Made Me Do It!" Are Spirit Attachment & Possession "real?"

Details

"I don't know what got into me." "I haven't been myself lately."

These common expressions are rooted in 'Spirit Possession', a phenomenon witnessed, studied, and acknowledged by no less personage than William James, MD, Harvard professor, philosopher, and the father of American Psychology. In 1896, James lectured on and openly regarded spirit possession a valuable window into the nature of consciousness, arguing that all experiences, even very extraordinary ones, must be studied if we are to understand reality. While he didn't insist that spirit possession proves survival of death, he remarked that it raises the serious possibility that the mind functions independent of the brain, that is, if a deceased person's personality somehow engages and interferes with living people.

In this last installment in our series "Gifts of the Spirit" we'll hear conversations with actual 'spirit attachments' explain how and why they have decided to affect living persons [*Not for the Faint of Heart*] as well as supporting evidence and thoughts from qualified researchers on ways to avoid attachment. For your listening pleasure: Psychologist and pioneer spirit releasement therapist Edith Fiore, PhD, speaks on the topic in his 7 minute YouTube video.
