What if the weird phenomena and abilities attributed to Jesus, including the so-called miracles, were accurately reported, but not due to 'supernatural' causes, as later mis/interpreted?

While correlations between those works and the phenomena of Spiritualism are hardly novel, the scientific study of extraordinary mental abilities, parapsychology, has demonstrated that these are human abilities, and that our understanding and intentional use of consciousness has barely scratched the surface. Is that what Jesus wanted us to understand about ourselves and reality when he said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father," noting also that, among many others, early church fathers Origen and Irenaeus both wrote, "God is Mind."? We believe so.

This Sunday, let's reconsider Jesus' teachings and abilities against contemporaneous evidence from numerous other gifted (or empowered) subjects, to see if it makes more sense than prevailing doctrines and orthodoxies.
