Cambodia is considered a promising investment destination, with a strong track record of economic growth and a number of factors that may make it attractive to investors:

• Growth potential
  Cambodia's economy is projected to grow by 5.5% in 2024, which is faster than 2023. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects Cambodia to be one of the fastest-growing economies in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in 2024 and 2025.
• Investment climate
  Cambodia has been a member of the Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes between States and Nationals of Other States (ICSID Convention) since 2005 and the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards 1958 since 1960.
• Government measures
  The government has taken steps to encourage foreign investment, including reducing production and supply costs.
• Labor protection
  Cambodia has a strong labor protection regime, and wages are rising with the development of the economy.
• Transition to upper-middle-income country
  Cambodia is projected to graduate from least-developed country (LDC) status by 2027 and is taking steps to transition to an upper-middle-income country by 2030 and a high-income country by 2050.
